What inspires Joe - “My inspiration is the ‘Blank Page’, what lies ahead for the next design. Fresh new architecture, making people happy, having clients trust, but keeping the building first.”

PROJECT ARCHITECT, INTERIOR DESIGNER, NCARB, NCIDQ

Graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor degree in Interior Design and Boston Architectural College with a Master degree in Architecture. Caitlin has been practicing as a certified Interior Designer for 10 years and is excited to be expanding her role at Hex 9 as Project Architect. “I enjoy being both Architect and Interior Designer and working alongside my father/mentor, Joe the Architect, every day!” Fun Fact - “My husband is an excavator! His knowledge of construction and working with the trades has always been a helpful resource and encouragement to me as I navigate my own career path.” What inspires Caitlin - “A Challenge. I love when clients come to us with their design goals and allow us to solve their puzzles from a creative perspective.”

PROJECT/CAD MANAGER

Graduated from York County School of Technology with a certificate in Drafting and Design. Dennis’s path to architecture came from his passion for drawing and photography. He has over 34 years of experience in various fields of building design and engineering, such as architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection. What inspires Dennis - “Delivering the final project to the client with minimal challenges, while meeting their expectations.”

PROJECT MANAGER

Graduated from Northampton County Community College with an Associates Degree in Architectural Technology. Eric has over 40 years of experience in Architectural design. Eric’s favorite phase of the project is the architectural design, development and detailing phase.  Eric’s hobbies outside of work are competitive model building, cycling, hiking, piano, and spending time with his family.

PROJECT MANAGER

Graduated from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology with an Associates of Applied Sciences in Architectural Technology. Connor has been in the field of architecture for 10 years and his favorite phase of the project is either first doing the elevations for a job or the moment the job site begins to resemble the plans.  What inspires Connor – “Creating a space that you know many people will interact with and exist in for many years.”

DRAFTING TECHNICIAN

Denise is a recent graduate of Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology with an Associates of Applied Science in Architectural Technology.  Hex 9 Architects is happy to bring her on full-time, after she interned at our firm during her time in school.  What was Denise’s path to Architecture – “I did engineering drafting in High School, I loved drafting but not the engineering aspects, then a teacher introduced me to architectural drafting and I ending up really enjoying it.”  

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Graduated from Berks Technical Institute with an Associates degree in Graphic Design, and has a diploma from Stratford Career Institute for Accounting. What inspires Michelle - “Seeing historic structures, industrial building and barns, that are being revitalized and repurposed into new modern spaces, while still preserving parts of the original historic features.”
