The owners of The Sandwich Factory Sports Lounge came to us with an idea to upgrade their well known sandwich shop into a full-service bar and restaurant with a newly featured brick oven pizza unit. The Hex 9 team worked from these parameters to develop a new aesthetic for the space. A custom bar inspired by a factory conveyor belt became a central design element of the expanded area. All the finishes were selected to reminisce an old brick, wood and steel factory interior. Different seating areas were carefully space planned to allow for an open dining room while also creating sense of personal space. With a mixture of drink rails, banquette, high tops and movable tables the dining room can accommodate a variety of seating arrangements.
