Smart Health Innovations is a new product incubation lab in downtown Lancaster, PA. They provide a space for those in the healthcare industry to develop and prototype their new innovations and help get exposure to corporations who are able to make their inventions thrive. The client needed to fit out an existing space to provide various lab areas and prototype rooms that would mimic the healthcare and hospital environment. The existing space was once home to the corporate offices of a large bank. This provided a large footprint with already existing office spaces which were fit out as meeting rooms and innovation labs. The design utilized the colors associated with Smart Health’s branding for wayfinding and space designation. Custom carpet tile was specified to aid in the pathway throughout the space along with updated light fixtures and dry erase painted walls to accentuate the different rooms while also providing innovative functions.
